Review of Nightbane
- Aric Thornblade is vampire ruler of the night. Stalking his innocent victims through the city streets, Aric seeks the power to destroy his sole rival, the vampire Omnus. One night, however, after feeding on another unwitting civilian, Aric falls ill, a situation which should not occur and a condition to which he is completely unaccustomed. Enraged yet weakened beyond his ability to remedy, Aric seeks the assistance of a local hospital. The diagnosis: AIDS, also known in ancient vampire texts as The Nightbane. Yet before Aric can learn more about this horrible ailment and search for a cure, his plight is exploited by none other than his arch-nemesis, Omnus. What ensues is a battle the likes of which is destined to become legendary in the pages of vampire history!
