Horror books Review
The unfinished events aboard Blaine the monorail come to a conclusion in this fourth story of Roland and his quest for the Dark Tower. A large portion of this book is Roland having palaver with his group. He tells them of his life as a boy, his first mission as a gunslinger with his best friends Alain and Cuthbert. He also speaks of what happened to his first love, Susan, and the events that led him to his quest for the Dark Tower. However, toward the conclusion of this story, an enemy from the past returns, and Randall Flagg (The protagonist from The Stand) makes an appearance. This book reads more like a classic western/fantasy with only some elements of the actual science fiction it is. Filled with drama, action, and even bearable romance, this is truly the best book of the series (so far).
