It’s out of print now, but “Nightmares in Dixie” is a solid anthology of horror stories set in the South. A couple of the stories—especially one about children in the North Carolina mountains who one day start to eat their parents—are classic horror approaching literature. Once read, these stories stay with you. An excellent collection.
