“I Dare You” is a level 3 book which is recommended for grades 1 and 2. However, my soon-to-be-3rd-grader still enjoyed it enough to read the entire book in one sitting. Simple enough for young readers to read alone and interesting enough to hold their attention. The book is divided into three stand alone scarey stories with each page being illustrated. This book would be a perfect halloween read-complete with cemeteries, ghosts, and skeletons. Also ideal for readers that enjoy scarey books but are not old enough for the goosebumps series.
