Horror books Review
I can’t recommend this book, but that being said, it is an easy read, it held my attention, and I enjoyed it for the most part. Hey I made it through it. That’s an improvement over my recent reading habit: read 100 pages and then jump to something else without finishing anything. What bothered me most about the novel was that it took place when the serial killer was spiraling down fast and he didn’t act as smart as I would have liked him to. But I suspect the author got it right, that in the real world chaos rules, that time moves so quickly that all planning goes out the window. Everyone involved in this novel pays a huge price except the serial killer’s obese mother whose constant putdowns and mistreatments towards her son caused the problem to begin with. How dare her testify at her son’s inquest as to how she got it right, that he was a jinx and a no good who she should have aborted. Please.
