Great Work!
Loved this book...my only problem is that she doesn't write fast enough to satisfy my appetite for more stories.

Witty, Fast-paced Fun!
Mary Janice Davidson delivers all her traditional full length punch in these short stories. As always, she keeps her plot lines moving, her readers engaged and laughing out loud, and her characters developed and developing inside the stories.
This is a great quick read if you need a light hearted escape with a supernatural kick to it. Whether it be vampires, werewolves or merfolk, the fantasy is believeable enough for your real world brain to check out for an hour or so and unwind.
Absolutely, do check this book out!

Excellent!
In MaryJanice Davidson's DEAD OVER HEELS there is much fun to be had!
Her first story follows Queen Betsy and Sinclair to New York for their honeymoon. Ah, New York, lights, love, sex, shoes, (!?)Nick & Jessica(?!). Betsy is her usual delightfully ditsy self as there is a new evil to take care of. Nick is trying to convince Jessica how evil Betsy & Sinclair are and Jessica is trying to convince Nick how evil they are not. Sinclair just wants to be alone with his new bride. Will they ever be alone? Will Nick convince Jess how evil the vamps are? Will Betsy ever buy new shoes? DUH!this is Betsy. Even if you have never read the adventures of Queen Betsy and her friends it is still a fun story. If you have read about them, you must find out about the honeymoon!
In SURVIVORS Con is a survivor expert who actually has no idea how to save himself after he gets separated from his crew in the middle of the ocean. Reanesta the mermaid decides to take care of Con even if he is an annoying biped. I haven't managed to catch the 2nd Fred book so I don't know if Reanesta was in it or not, but this is from the world of Fred the mermaid. There is a lot of love in this one!
In SPEED DATING WEREWOLF STYLE, Cain is mad at her friends because even though they all promised there was no way they were getting married before they were 30 almost everyone else has! Cain has decided it is time for her to find her mate before she is 30 also. No problem, she has !22 days! When did that happen? This is a Wyndham story so it is a uproarious adventure. Cain is one tough lady who scares most people. So who is brave enough to date her? She goes to her friend Saul who sets her up on many dates that hopefully her dates will survive.
These were hilarious stories from an author that I have learned will keep me laughing and wanting more. I think you will have as much fun as I did.

Really not very good
I was very disappointed with this book, thank goodness I didn't buy it. I would have felt so ripped off. The stories are short and stilted, in some cases "chapters" run less than 3 pages. Also, nothing much happens. In Queen Betsy's story, I kept waiting for some tension, some plot movement, something. Hardly anything happens, and it was pretty boring. In the werewolf story, it's the same old plot device I've seen dozens of times before; best-friend-wants-to-be-more. Yawn. She clearly was into the paycheck with this one.
