Follow the Blue Horror Book Review

Bec has always been the good girl. Growing up with an eccentric celebrity chef mother and a father who suffers from depression, Bec is used to taking care of her two younger siblings and being called -the sensible one.+But when Bec+s parents leave for a six-week tour of the U.S., our narrator decides that she is sick of being responsible and is ready for some adventures of her own. She meets a new friend called Jaz, dyes her hair, wins money, discovers guys, and throws her first party. Hanging out with Nick, a gorgeous skateboarder, and Steve, a guy with a tattoo of a fish on his wrist, Bec realizes that maybe she isn+t so boring after all. This is a beautifully written coming-of-age story in which one ordinary girl learns what it means, as her mother would say, to -lighten up and enjoy the ride.+
