Horror books Review

A pretty enjoyable book, but not great. The first half of the book was pretty good and what I would have expected. But then there are some king-size plot contrivances and the second half of the book is a little… different. Some of the gore and sex seemed thrown in just to make the book more interesting.

Caine doesn’t really add anything new to the werewolf mythos, but it’s still a pretty good book; just not great. The creatures in the book are probably closer to wendigo than werewolf.
