Wake of the Werewolf - Geoffrey Caine Horror Book Review
Horror books Review
A pretty enjoyable book, but not great. The first half of the book was pretty good and what I would have expected. I haven’t read the first book in the series, so maybe I’m missing some character development from that book, but there were some scenes where I was going “what!?”. Suspension of dis-belief, sure, but don’t push it this far.
Caine doesn’t really add anything new to the werewolf mythos, but it’s still a pretty good book; just not great. The creatures in the book are probably closer to wendigo than werewolf.
