Spooky House of Horror Horror Book Review
Featured Book Review: Darkbound

Horror books Review
I bought this book (used) for my son 2 years ago. It isn’t really a book, per se, but a 3-D, many-roomed, haunted house that stores neatly in book form. Open the book completely until the covers are back to back and you have a delightful, mysterious spooky mansion complete with trap doors, silly ghouls, mutant lizards, a basement full of sharks, etc. It is brilliantly illustrated and not so sinister that it will bring on the nightmares. After 2 years of enjoying it, we’re still finding new creatures and features within the rooms. We always set it up at the beginning of October (to get us into that Halloween spirit) but my son plays with it an awful lot during the rest of the year as well. He thoroughly enjoys marching his dinosaurs and toy ninjas through the house, creating his own dramatic productions. I reiterate that I did buy the book used, so there may be an additional story booklet that comes along wtih it when you buy it new. I’m back for a second book that I’ll keep safely hidden. Even though our copy is holding up pretty well, it’s definitely well-loved and not getting any younger. I know that we’ll enjoy this for years to come.
