It’s Halloween in the small suburban town of Wakefield, Mass. While parents take their children trick or treating and others throw costume parties, a swarm of meteorites enter the earth’s atmosphere and crash to earth. Inside are small parasitic worms, no larger than maggots. The worms quickly infect the corpses at a local cemetery and so began the rise of the undead. The walking dead soon get the upper hand, with no one believing the truth. That the dead now walk. Will a small group of survivors live through the zombie apocalypse? Or will they too succumb to the Deadfall.
