Horror books Review
I am a fan of fictional horror and stumbled across this book at a library clearance sale. Sad when I think of all of the other things I could have spent that fifty cents on. If there were Razzies given for most elementary, degrading, DISGUSTING literary trash ever printed, William W Johnstone would be a top contender. There is absolutely nothing to this book other than graphic violence, a one dimensional & “simple” plotline and enough sexual perversion to make most morally decent people rush for the toilet. I’m by no means a prude, nor a bible thumping Christian, but I shudder to think of what Johnstone does to fire up his creative literary mojo. And what’s more disturbing is that he tries to pass it off as someone else mentioned, by pretending as if he is condemning the very acts he takes such glee in describing throughout. Incest, monster genitalia & child [**]ography seems to be of great intrigue to Mr. Johnstone from what I’ve heard about some of his other horror stories. He appears to be an author of several genres. Perhaps his westerns and science fiction are more palatable, but if his horror fiction is any indication, I think I’ll pass.
