CW Cancels The Secret Circle for Cult

CW The Secret Circle has been cancelled CW will be picking up Cult. The CW has four other pilots for the CW’s upcoming fall roster. The Arrow is based on the Green Arrow comics. Beauty and the Beast will be loosely based on the CBS TV series from the 80’s. Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries will be returning of course.

I was shocked to hear the news that The Secret Circle is cancelled. The show wasn’t that bad in my opinion but I guess it couldn’t hold it’s weight to stay on the air. Who knows, maybe they might bring it back if enough fans requests it stay on the air similar to what happened with Nikita. Maybe it could have caught up with The Vampire Diaries if given the time.

Cult is about a blogger and production assistant who team up to fight crime. They realize that rabid fans of a fictional show are recreating the crimes that they are seeing. Matt Davis from The Vampire Diaries as Alaric will be starring.
